Es ist doch nun wirklich seit spätestens Episode I bekannt, dass Lucas außer Effekten im filmischen Bereich und erzählerischen rein gar nix drauf hat.  :LOL:

Ganz im Sinne von Glods Post kann ich das nun auch nochmal bestätigen, der Film ist ja noch schlechter als ich ihn in Erinnerung hatte, sogar Jar Jar hat micht diesmal genervt... Aber das war Nebensache, denn das Bild bei Ep1 aus der gestern eingetroffenen UK BD Box ist der absolute Wahnsinn, das sclägt sogar die LOTR Box! Das geht schon gleich nach dem 20th Century Fox Logo los, da sind tausende Sterne mehr zu sehen und dann die Raumschiffe - ein Traum! Ebenso kann ich nur vom Sound schwärmen, der auf meiner bescheidenen Soundbar wuchtig, räumlich und perfekt abgemischt daher kam - das sollte auf einer anständigen Soundanlage der pure Ohrenschmaus sein, denn solch einen super Sound hatte ich mit meiner Bar noch nie zuvor!

Also egal aller kleiner Makel - diese Box ROCKT

Im "real" 40€ für jedes Bundle. Bin aber nicht so der SW Freak, von daher noch bis Weihnachten abwarten, denke da gibt es die Box(en) genau wie HDR zumindest bei ama mal im Tagesangebot für nen guten Kurs.

Einer der Gründe warum ich jetzt doch schwach geworden bin.. Box kam heute an..der erste Eindruck ist schon mal sehr gut. Wie der Metall Bikini rüberkommt werd ich dann spätestens in ner Woche wissen..das Beste kommt zum Schluß ;) Und ich hab noch eine minimale Hoffnung das das "Noo" eventuell in spanischen Tonspur fehlt. Und wenn nicht, werd ich wohl lernen müssen damit zu leben..auch wenn's mich immer ärgern wird. :andy:

Ich habe von einem spanischen Bekannten eine relativ frustrierte Meldung zu der SW BD Box bekommen, er bemängelt, dass auf der europäischen Box nur der deutsche Ton in HD drauf ist - kann ich veerstehen, dass er da etwas angefressen ist, da der englische Ton auch in nicht-HD da drauf ist, bin ich nochmal mehr froh, die UK Box gekauft zu haben...

4-6 sehen fast so gut aus, wie sie aussehen können; auch wenn das Filmkorn ziemlich bereinigt wurde, ist der Filtereinsatz wenig zu sehen und das Bild ist detailreich aber nicht überkontrastiert.
Teil 1 ist dagegen fast zu Tode gefiltert und alles, was keine große glatte Fläche ist, sieht aus, als würde es hinter einem Nebelschleier stehen. Gesichtskonturen sind überhaupt nicht vorhanden und die meisten Einstellungen sehen so weich aus, daß man arge Probleme hat irgendwelche Details auszumachen.
Das alles hat Lucas aber wohl schon vor 12 Jahren gemacht, damit man die schlechten Effekte leichter übersieht. So schlimm hatte ich ihn im Kino allerdings nicht in Erinnerung.
Teil 2 sieht als frühe reine Digitalproduktion gut aus, stinkt gegen 3 aber ab, der aussieht, wie eine aktuelle Digitalproduktion.

Fairerweise muß ich aber zugeben, daß selbst Episode 1 der DVD um Meilen voraus ist.

Es mag ja daran liegen, dass ich nicht so einen riesigen Fernseher habe (37"), denn ich fand Ep1 exzellent was Bild und Ton angeht. Es kann auch Geschmack sein, daher bitte diesen Kommentar nicht übel oder persönlich  nehmen, wenn das beabsichtigt gewesen wär, hätte ich was von SECAM Gewohnheiten geschrieben :king:

Bei Ep2 habe ich leichte Kontrastverfälschungen (ich nenn die mal so) gesehen, zum Beispiel rote Gesichter bei Sonnenuntergang im Hintergrund - das mag so gewollt sein, ist mir zuvor nie aufgefallen...

Die weiteren Teile stehen noch aus, die verdammte Zeit spielt einfach nicht mit...

Ich habe bisher erst Episode 1 aus der Box gesehen und ich fand das Bild nicht "sau schlecht", aber für eine Blu-Ray im Jahre 2011 schon sehr unbefriedigend. Der Ton ist allerdings schön kräftig, das macht schon richtig laune.  :respekt:

ja, das Bild der Blus ist lächerlich für sowas wie STAR WARS. evtl. will man später nochmal mit brandneuen Abtastungen abzocken. Ist ja nicht so, dass Herr Luas sich keine neue Abtastung leisten könnte...

siehe hier unten den Link -  der Unterschied ist marginal; eindeutig klar ist, dass exakt das gleiche Master für die DVD auf SD heruntergerechnet wurde, noch dazu sehr gut. ich kauf das erstmal nicht... die paar Pixel mehr sind's nicht wirklich wert, soviel Kohle hinzulegen. nicht falsch verstehen, bei einer sehr guten Neuabtastung wäre die Kohle okay, aber nicht für uralte Master.

Also wenn ich bei deinem link hier auf png klicke und dann auf den 1920x1080 Vollbild Vergleich sehe ich sehr wohl einen gravierenden Unterschied... hab die Edition gestern bekommen, und was ich bisher auf meinem kleinen 27 Zoll Monitor im Büro gesehen habe war doch eigentlich schon sehr überzeugend... Naja, bald ist eh Wochenende dann wird daheim auf dem Plasma mal endlich wieder Star Wars geschaut :)

Es gibt wohl NUR neues Bonusmaterial, das von den DVDs ist mWn NICHT enthalten, deshalb hab ich meine DVDs auch noch, obwohl die Box seit Weihnachten (noch ungeöffnet) im Regal steht.

Hu, also nach Spannicks Link werde ich wohl noch weiter zögern. Hab schon viel gemischtes über diese VÖ gehört und ehrlich gesagt haut mich das Bild nicht vom Hocker. Klar, die alten Filme haben 30 Jahre auf dem Buckel, aber etwas mehr hatte ich mir schon erhofft. Mit den momentan vorhandenen Restaurationmethoden hätte man da schon noch nachhelfen können denke ich. Klar, das Bild der BR ist detaillierter und schärfer, doch stört mich der Schleier und das Rauschen...
Beziehe mich gerade nur auf den Bildvergleich von Spannick zur alten Trilogie.

Under the terms of the agreement and based on the closing price of Disney stock on October 26, 2012, the transaction value is $4.05 billion, with Disney paying approximately half of the consideration in cash and issuing approximately 40 million shares at closing. The final consideration will be subject to customary post-closing balance sheet adjustments.
