With Toby Wilkins' SPLINTER arriving in theaters this Friday, it only makes sense to start promoting the directors next film, The Grudge 3, which follows a young Japanese woman holds a secret to ending the curse of the Grudge. She travels to a haunted Chicago apartment building where she encounters a family battling to survive the ghosts. Shawnee Smith mag ich recht gern, aber dass die inzwischen sechsteilige Reihe (ohne Kurzfilme) jetzt erstmals unter der Regie eines anderen als Takashi Shimizu (und dann auch noch DTV) fortgesetzt wird, verheißt sicher nichts Gutes.
