... hier nun die mehr oder minder offizielle Ankündigung vom "man himself":

You may have guessed, you may have assumed it, but until now we hadn't had confirmation from the studio or the man himself that Christopher Nolan would be back to direct Batman 3 / The Dark Knight 2  (or whatever we're calling it). But our Dan Jolin talked to the man himself earlier today, and got it straight from Nolan himself.
"It’s becoming inevitable, I’ll put it that way," says Nolan. "I feel myself falling into it, I guess. And getting it all figured out and I’m pretty excited about what we’re doing so… If I haven’t announced it, I think that people probably all know at this point that I’m doing it."
Hang on, that's not 100% clear: so we can safely assume you're directing?
"I think you can at this point, yes."
So as of right now, Nolan will return. You may also have spotted the "getting it all figured out" there: when we asked Nolan what he was busy with as we called, the answer was that he's working on Jonathan Nolan's script for the film. In other words, there is a script! Things are slowly taking shape!

Der Titel ist fast so schlimm (weil öde und einfallslos) wie der Titelzusatz des neuen "Transformers"-Flicks...  :icon_rolleyes:

Hoffentlich ändert sich der Titel noch vor der Produktion. Ich frage mich nur, welchen halbwegs bodenständigen Badguy uns Nolan diesmal präsentiert, der noch in den Kontext der Reihe passt? Ich hätte sehr gerne den Riddler gesehen, bin aber auch froh, dass Mr. Freeze ausgeschossen ist.

Im Kontext eines realitätsnäheren Superheldenfilm würde der Pinguin immernoch super passen: Multimilliardär mit politischen Interesse und besten Verbindungen zur Unterwelt (die Mafia kann noch ein 3. Mal als Boxbeutel für Batsy herhalten).

Da Nolans Reihe ohnehin viele Anleihen aus dem "Der dunkle Ritter kehrt zurück" Comic beherbergt, kann er da von mir aus im dritten Teil auch wieder ansetzen und vielleicht der Mutantengang und deren Anführer eine große Rolle zukommen lassen..

War doch iwi klar, dass der nicht von so nem billigen Sturz abnippelt! Alles andere hätte mich nur enttäuscht. Allerdings wünsche ich mir schon mal den Riddler mit neuem Darsteller (nicht mehr Carrey, vlt eher Depp) oder wie wärs mal mit dem Typen der immer ne Puppe (mit altem Gangster MG) dabei hat?! Ich müsste nochmal die ganzen Batman Gotham Knight Serien sehen um mal ein paar neue Bösewichte zu nennen. Da waren immer mal ganz schön fiese Charaktere dabei.

Heath Ledger Not Appearing in The Dark Knight Rises ... And Nolan confirms Tom Hardy has a role

In addition to the stories about how The Dark Knight Rises will be Christopher Nolan's last Batman film (seriously, how many times does Nolan need to say this before it becomes non-news?), a rumor is also making the rounds that Nolan will be using unused footage of Heath Ledger's Joker in the new film. Nolan debunked that rumor while talking to Thompson on Hollywood, confirmed that Tom Hardy has a role and gave a bit of an update:

Nolan, bearded and affable, explained that he's scrambling to finish the script for The Dark Knight Rises, his third Batman movie, which he's writing in collaboration with his brother Jonathan, mostly from his oceanfront abode in the Paradise Cove trailer park in Malibu..The script is due in January for a July release. But he wouldn't say what the story's about or who the villain is, other than to confirm that Inception's Tom Hardy will play "a key role, not saying good or bad," and to shoot down reports that he'll resurrect The Joker by including unused footage of Heath Ledger's performance in the previous chapter.  "That's all wrong," said the writer-director, who's also producing the next Superman movie, for Zack Snyder to direct.


Eckhart Confirms No Two-Face in The Dark Knight Rises

Aaron Eckhart confirmed once and for all to MTV that Harvey Dent/Two-Face will not be appearing in The Dark Knight Rises, which he says "is going to blow everybody away."

"Chris and I had a meeting, on the beach, just the two of us," Eckhart said. "I said, 'Chris, a lot of people are asking me if I'm in the next 'Batman.' And Chris said, 'Yes?' I said, 'Am I?' He looked at me and he said, 'No.'" He added that he wasn't joking about the beach part and said that they "found ourselves alone on the beach together on a stormy day and he delivered the news to me. I was heartbroken. But Chris has his reasons and my life must go on... Honestly, it was Heath's movie to go on. We had a great movie. I'm so honored to be a part of that movie."

Anne Hathaway to Play Selina Kyle in The Dark Knight Rises

Warner Bros. Pictures announced today that Anne Hathaway has been cast as Selina Kyle (AKA Catwoman) in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises. She will be starring alongside Christian Bale, who returns in the title role of Bruce Wayne/Batman.

Christopher Nolan stated, "I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Anne Hathaway, who will be a fantastic addition to our ensemble as we complete our story."

In addition, Tom Hardy has been set to play Bane. Nolan said, "I am delighted to be working with Tom again and excited to watch him bring to life our new interpretation of one of Batman's most formidable enemies."

Nolan will direct the film from a screenplay he wrote with Jonathan Nolan, from a story by Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer. Nolan will also produce the film with his longtime producing partner, Emma Thomas, and Charles Roven.

The Dark Knight Rises is slated for release on July 20, 2012. The film will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

Ich mag Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Aber ich kann mir beim besten Willen nicht vorstellen, dass er als Joker eingesetzt wird. Das waere recht Pietaetlos, wenn uns auf diese Weise, die (Un?)Ersetzbarkeit eines Heath Leger aufgezeigt werden wuerde. Nolan wuerde das niemals wagen, und Levitt bestimmt nicht so dumm, sich diese Buerde aufhalsen zu lassen.

Ich würde es auch etwas "geschmacklos" finden, nur eine kleine Gedankenspielerei meinerseits. ;) Ich frage mich aber auch andererseits, ob der Joker generell nun tabu ist und falls nicht, ab wann ist es wieder "okay", diese Figur zu benutzen?

Noch brisanter wäre es doch, die Figur des Joker im kommenden Film komplett unter den Teppich zu kehren.  :icon_surprised: Egal wie man es macht, wir werden den Charakter nicht zum letzten Mal gesehen haben und einen Aufschrei wird es von den Ledger-Fans auch in zehn Jahren geben.

Also ich denke Gordon-Lewitt wuerde einen sehr guten Joker abgeben. Allerdings wäre ich dagegen den Joker schon im nächsten Film einzusetzen, das wäre einfach zu frueh. 1-2 Filme Pause sollte es schon geben.

Tom Hary und Joseph Gordon-Levitt finde ich übrigens cool. Und er könnte wirklich mit Heath Ledger verwandt sein. Aber er wird nicht den Joker spielen. Nolan hat doch so viele Male gesagt das es kein Two Face und keinen Joker im dritten Film geben wird. Dennoch hätte zumindest der Joker noch einen Auftritt verdient. Mit dessen Ende war ich absolut nicht zufrieden.

Danke für die Info StS.
Zusammen mit Ken Watanabe, Michael Cane und Joseph Gordon-Levitt war dann schon fast die komplette Inception Besetzung in den Nolan Batmans vertreten. Vielleicht wird ja noch Leonardo DiCaprio als Riddler und Ellen Page als Harley Quinn mit dabei sein :icon_lol:

Zu Tom Hardy. Wenn er Bane spielen will muss er aber wieder so viele Muckis wie in Bronson zulegen (wobei der nicht mutierte Bane ja ein ziemlicher Schmächtling ist):



Doch wieso schon wieder Bane? Bis auf Ra's al Ghul (und Scarecrow, den ich vergessen habe) sind bisher nur Bösewichte drangekommen die es schon gab. Auf Catwoman oder Batgirl fahre ich auch absolut nicht ab. Oder viel schlimmer wäre Robin. Aber der wird wohl nicht dabei sein wenn man Bale's Abneigung gegen den Sidekick ernst nehmen kann.

Jedoch fällt mir auch gerade kein nennenswerter Bösewicht ein der noch keinen Auftritt in einem Batman Film hatte. Die meisten wurden ja in den Schumacher Filmen verheizt.

Also für mich wäre er als Joker völlig ok. Das Leben geht weiter. Ansonsten bin ich vom Cast angetan. Wird wieder großes Kino.
