Hong Kong action film director Dante Lam (THE BEAST STALKER) enters mixed martial arts territory with his upcoming film MMA, set for release this June.

The film stars Nick Cheung as a former boxer who after a stint in prison, gets a job at a Macau gym as a janitor. When the son of a disgraced businessman goes to the gym to train for an upcoming mixed martial arts tournament, the ex-boxer becomes his trainer. However, when a tragedy in the ring happens, the ex-boxer finds the will to fight and trains himself for the upcoming tournament.

The film co-stars Eddie Peng, Ting Mei, Andy On, and Jack Kao. The film is due for release in Hong Kong this June by Distribution.
