Lost Boys (Rob Thomas/the CW)

The CW is making some long-range plans with Veronica Mars and iZombie creator Rob Thomas. According to a story today at Deadline, the network is developing a Lost Boys series, based on the 1987 feature film directed by Joel Schumacher. Unlike the film, however, the Lost Boys series is planned to span the better part of a century. The first season will take place in San Francisco in 1967 with the plan being for each subsequent season to be set in a different decade, culminating in a final seventh season that will, by the time it airs, theoretically feature the characters in a contemporary 2020s setting.  (Comingsoon.net)
