The real-life events on which THE KILL TEAM is based, known as the Maywand District Murders, found five U.S. Army soldier being charged with the murder of three Afghan civilians, along with seven others being charged with participating in a cover-up. Written and directed by Dan Krauss, who also helmed the 2013 documentary,
