Club Mad

Ich hätte da mal eine Frage zu "Club Mad".
Die deutsche Fassung ist ja in der OFDB als "r-rated" eingetragen. Nun würde mich deswegen interessieren, was denn da gegenüber der als "unrated" deklarierten Fassung der Schere zum Opfer gefallen ist.
Bei CD WOW! gibt's ja die UK-DVD (unrated) für humane 14,99 EUR, so dass ich überlege mir die Scheibe zuzulegen, auch wenn der Film jetzt nicht DER Hammer war (knapp 6 von 10 Punkten gebe ich diesem Horror-Ulk).
Mich stört jedoch das "BBFC 15" der Scheibe, was wohl heißt, das der Film trotz Unrated-Zertifikat auch in seiner längeren Fassung nicht sonderlich hart sein kann.
Kann hier jemand was zu den geschnittenen Szenen sagen, so dass ich mir vielleicht eine eher unnütze Anschaffung sparen kann.

There's about fifteen minutes of new footage added into this new release, scattered sporadically throughout the running time. The most obvious addition is a small subplot towards the middle of the movie in which two detectives arrive from the mainland to investigate the murders. One wonders how they knew to show up if all means of outside contact had been cut by the killer, probably the reason the whole section was cut in the first place.

Hardcore fans that pored over the trailer before the theatrical release will recognize shots of the flaming arrow and exploding boat from this sequence. All of the other additions are rather small and not particularly noteworthy. That being said, Club Dread still works very well as a film and the extra moments here and there only add to that experience.

What you get here is simply footage not submitted to the MPAA; it consists mostly of scene extensions, none of which would have changed the film's rating. There's no gratuitous violence or nudity. Yippee. It's also sad to think someone believed there was actually a need for an even longer version of this film.

Alles in allem wohl grösstenteils Szenenverlängerungen und ein kleiner Subplot. Macht den Film nur länger und kaum besser anscheinend.

Vielen Dank für die Informationen.
Da dem Film offensichtlich kein Gore hinzugefügt wurde, werde ich mir die Anschaffung der UK-DVD daher wohl sparen.
