Patrick und Martin mit Musik von Goblin

Der Thread-Titel klingt jetzt lustig, aber egal. Die Filme "Patrick" und "Martin"(Wampyr) sollen ja beide für die italienische Veröffentlichung mit Musik von Goblin unterlegt worden sein. Ich habe beide Filme noch nicht gesehen und mich interessiert jetzt, ob alle europäischen Versionen diese Musik enthalten oder nur die italienischen.

Die offizielle Seite von Goblin behauptet das hier:

In 1978, George Romero's 1977 film MARTIN was re-edited (reportedly by Dario Argento) and dubbed into Italian for release in Italy. One of the biggest differences was the soundtrack which was entirely replaced with music by Goblin. With the exception of a new ending theme (reportedly recorded originally for ZOMBI), all the music was taken from the ROLLER and IL FANTASTICO VIAGGIO DEL 'BAGAROZZO' MARK LPs. Two additional tracks by another band were also included in the new soundtrack. To date, this version has never been commercially released in America.

und zu Patrick:

An Australian film that, like WAMPYR/MARTIN, was re-edited for release in Italy. Goblin was asked to compose a new soundtrack for the Italian release of the film. This version with Goblin's music has never been seen outside of Italy.


Die IMDb spricht allerdings von einer europäischen (nicht nur italienischen) Fassung.

Kann mir einer sagen, welche Musik bei den deutschen DVDs enthalten ist oder ob die Schnittfassung sich von der USA-Version unterscheidet?
Stimmt es wirklich, dass Argento "Martin" umgeschnitten hat?
