Army of One (Cage jagt Bin Laden... in einer Komödie)

The Hollywood Reporter brings word that Borat director Larry Charles will helm the satirical comedy Army of One for Endgame Entertainment and Conde Nast Entertainment, starring Nicolas Cage as an average Joe who attempts to hunt down Osama bin Laden.

The film is loosely based on a GQ magazine article about Colorado construction worker/ex-con Gary Faulkner, who attempted to sneak into Pakistan and Afghanistan multiple times armed with a sword in order to find Bin Laden prior to the al-Qaeda leader's assassination at the hands of Seal Team 6 in May of 2011.

Jup, sieht witzig aus und Cage endlich mal wieder abseits seiner 08/15-Rollen. Wobei er z. B. in "Der Kandidat" schauspielerisch auch wieder absolut überzeugen konnte.
