Super Size Me legend Morgan Spurlock's skin-crawling new documentary Rats (inspired by Robert Sullivan's New York Times best-selling book) goes deep beneath the surface of New York's city streets to explore the lives of man's greatest parasite, the cerebral vermin that has plagued the planet since the dawn of time.

Rats had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and will release on the Discovery Channel on October 22nd with an exclusive Landmark Theaters midnight screening on September 23rd and 24th. The film is a new form of documentary horror storytelling, journeying around the world to bring viewers face to face with rats while delving into our complicated relationship with these creepy creatures.

The film is not for the easily freaked out.
