Ice Road 2: Vengeance

Big rig ice road driver Mike McCann (Liam Neeson) travels to Nepal to scatter his late brother's ashes on Mt. Everest. While on a packed tour bus traversing the deadly 12,000 ft. terrain of the infamous Road to the Sky, McCann and his mountain guide (Fan Bingbing) encounter a group of ruthless mercenaries and must fight to save not only themselves but the innocent passengers and a local village on the brink of destruction.

Liam Neeson and Fan Bingbing lead Ice Road: Vengeance, with Marcus Thomas, Grace O'Sullivan, Saksham Sharma, Bernard Curry, Geoff Morrell, Mahesh Jadu, Amelia Bishop, Shapoor Batliwalla, Monish Anand, Shivantha Wijesinha, and CJ Bloomfield filling out the cast.

Wow... einfach nur dumm-de-dumm-dumm wow. Selbst der neue Titel(-Zusatz) "Ice Road: Vengeance" ist so generisch wie haarsträubend (ursprünglich sollte der Streifen "Ice Road 2: Road to the Sky" hießen). Haben Liam und die Macher Teil 1 mit einem der vielen anderen banalen Liam-Action-Streifen verwechselt... oder was war da los? Wahnsinn auch, wie man auf Biegen&Brechen noch ne vereiste Straße in die Story mit eingebaut hat... wow. Man hätte auf jeden Fall nen eigenständigen Film draus machen sollen...

Besser gar keinen. Schon Teil 1 war unterdurchschnittlich und der sieht jetzt nach billigstem TV GGI aus. Am besten auf einem Streaming Kanal verramschen und als A-Ware anpreisen. Wie G20, Canary Black und Konsorten.
