The directorial debut of Steve Wolsh, who also wrote and produced, Muck was shot in state-of-the-art 4K Ultra HD resolution. The film stars Kane Hodder (Hatchet, Jason Voorhees in four of the "Friday the 13th" films), Lachlan Buchanan ("Pretty Little Liars"), Puja Mohindra, Bryce Draper, Stephanie Danielson, Laura Jacobs, Grant Alan Ouzts, YouTube sensation Lauren Francesca (iwantmylauren), 2012 Playmate of the Year Jaclyn Swedberg, Gia Skova, Leila Knight, and Victoria Sophia.

Muck is the middle chapter of a true horror trilogy, which will be known as the "Muck" trilogy. The three films will bookend each other, taking place the day before, day of, and the day after Saint Patrick's Day in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where Muck was filmed on location. Pre-production has already begun for the Muck prequel, titled, Muck: Feast of Saint Patrick, with filming to commence in April 2015 after the release of Muck.
