 Gabriel Carrer wrote, directed, and produced.  His co-producers are Barrett, Christian Burgess, Andrew Bussey, Duane Frey, and Martin Buzora. The score is composed by Glenn Nicholls (Future Funk Squad), a UK electronic artist who is responsible for remixing The Prodigy, Depeche Mode, and Nine Inch Nails singles.

Carrer describes The Demolisher as "a surreal and hyper-stylistic take on a relentless and emotionally wounded vigilante." It is a slow burn, psychological thriller about a man's slow descent into darkness and despair, shot in and around Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The film has many universal appeals and is very character-driven, focusing on the actor's utilization of the frame.

Dem Titel nach ein schaebiger 80er-Italo-Action-Reisser, Story nach aber dann doch etwas anspruchsvoller.
