1883 ("Yellowstone"-Prequel-Serie mit Sam Elliott)

Paramount Network's neo-western Yellowstone has proven to be a big hit for the network, and it was announced earlier this year that series co-creator Taylor Sheridan was developing a prequel.

Starring Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill, 1883 follows the Dutton family as they embark on a journey west through the Great Plains toward the last bastion of untamed America. It is a stark retelling of Western expansion, and an intense study of one family fleeing poverty to seek a better future in America's promised land – Montana.

In addition to Elliot, McGraw, and Hill, 1883 will also star Isabel May, LaMonica Garrett, and Billy Bob Thornton.
