Gotti (Travolta als John)

Gotti follows infamous crime boss John Gotti's (Travolta) rise to become the "Teflon Don" of the Gambino Crime Family in New York City. Spanning three decades and recounted by his son John Jr. (Spencer Lofranco), GOTTI examines Gotti's tumultuous life as he and his wife (Kelly Preston) attempt to hold the family together amongst tragedy and multiple prison sentences.

Travolta is joined in the film by Spencer Lofranco (Unbroken, Jamesy Boy), Pruitt Taylor Vince (Monster, Heroes Reborn), Stacy Keach (American History X, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For), Chris Mulkey (Captain Phillips, First Blood), and William DeMeo. Travolta's real-life wife, Kelly Preston, and their daughter, Ella Bleu Travolta, are also in the film.

Gotti is a crime drama directed by Kevin Connolly (best known as 'E' from Entourage).

Sieht brauchbar aus. Travolta in der Rolle halte ich auch für die bessere Wahl als Stallone, der ja vorher mit dem Projekt verknüpft war. Mehr als durchschnittliche Kost erwarte ich aber nicht, dafür ist das Genre zu totgetreten. Travolta aber mal wieder als Zugpferd eines besseren Films zu sehen, ist natürlich auch schick.
