Written by Mark Millar and drawn by John Romita Jr., the Marvel Comics' Icon imprint book centers on a high school dweeb named Dave Lizewski who decides to become a superhero even though he has no athletic ability or coordination. Things change when he eventually runs into real bad guys with real weapons.

Aaron Johnson plays title character, while Lyndsy Fonseca plays the object of the teen's infatuation who believes Dave is gay. Cage is a former cop who wants to bring down a druglord and has trained his daughter (Chloe Moretz) to be a lethal weapon.

Hammer Trailer. Ich freu mich saumäßig. Hab die bisherigen Comics mittlerweile schon mehrmals gelesen und was ich da im Trailer seh gefällt :D

Aha, Mr. Vaughn hat den Film wohl aus eigener Tasche finanziert, weil er die Story- und Charakteränderungen seitens Sony nicht hinnehmen wollte (PG-13, Hit Girl zu kontrovers etc.). Jetzt sucht der Film, der schon seit geraumer Zeit fertiggestellt ist, einen Verleih.

Find ich richtig gut, wenn ein Regisseur sich durchzusetzen weiß und das nötige Kleingeld hat, um seinen Weg gehen zu können ohne den Weichspüler der Studios benutzen zu müssen.

cooles Ding... auch wenn ich mit der Vorlage überhaupt nix anfangen kann... was genau ist das?

Sind das ein paar loser die sich als Helden versuchen? haben sie Superkräfte? da es ja auch was auf Sarkasmus ausgelegt ist frage ich ob das ggf. eine Action Komödie ist...  scheint ja auch ne gewisse Härte zu haben...

Der lief schon auf einem Filmfestival in Austin, Texas... Das Publikum ist voll auf den Film abgefahren, der soll richtig, richtig gut sein ! Der Trailer flasht mich aber so gar nicht, da will keine Vorfreude aufgekommen bei mir.
Muss aber nicht an dem Film liegen... Bin mal gespannt wie sich das entwickelt !!

Haben zumindest im Comic keine Superkräfte. Sind ganz "normale" Typen in Kostümen^^ Action Comedy passt und brutal sind die Comics auch, is man ja von Millar gewöhnt.

Der Film sieht eigentlich recht cool aus, aber ich hasse Nicholas Cage so sehr. ^^ Neben Tom Cruise einer meiner absolut verhasstesten Hollywood-Schauspieler. Alleine deswegen könnte ich mir den schon nicht auf DVD kaufen.

Hoffentlich kommt der auch uncut bei uns, imdb listet den Start für Deutschland Mitte April. Auf Grund der Thematik sicherlich ein Wackelkandidat, aber mal schauen - vielleicht hat die FSK ja doch Humor.

Die Story liest sich erstmal unspektakulär:

Dave Lizewski is an unnoticed high school student and comic book fan with a few friends and who lives alone with his father. His life is not very difficult and his personal trials not that overwhelming. However, one day he makes the simple decision to become a super-hero even though he has no powers or training.

Soll am 15.4. bei uns anlaufen,das ist sogar ein Tag vor dem US-Start!
Die Trailer gefallen mir sehr gut,aber ein guter Cage-Film? Es wäre zu schön um wahr zu sein!
